Evaluation of Wetland Transformations using HSV Color Model for Denduluru Region

Wetlands act as one of the major sources of food, water, and livelihood in terms of fisheries and aquaculture. Due to human activities and other climatic changes wetland regions are continuously decreasing. As a result, it is essential to conduct a wetlands inventory in a given region so that it can track changes over a time period. Many researchers proposed so many methodologies for detecting the water bodies transformations throughout the decade using some statistical, methodological, and rule-based algorithms. The currently proposed methodology uses multiple bands methods rather than single bands methods for data acquisition in order to reduce the errors that are more often encountered.The methodology detects the wetlands in the given images and it compares with the data of different time periods using the HSV color model, such that it can able to track down the amount of changing area. Hence the methodology detects the wetlands, estimates the change in the area of the water bodies, and provides the current information on wetlands in the Denduluru region.
