Green Technology and Sustainability: A Review and Future Research Agenda

This research work investigates the number of studies conducted in the field of Green technology and sustainability in terms of annual scientific production, source, authorship, citations, and keywords. The study also identifies the potential research area, and set agenda for the future research work. The study evaluates the bibliometric analysis of 471 articles related to the study area from 1997 to 2022. Scopus database is use as a data source, and the R package bibliometrics 4.2.2 is used for the data analysis and visualization of the research work. The result of the study reveals that the annual scientific production of the literature has increased manifold in the last decade, and year 2022 has reported the highest number of publications, and the average citation per document.
