Design a Hardware model of RFID based Tracking System for Bird Flu affected Chickens

Radio Frequency Identification technology is a short distance wireless data communication technique for identification of objects. With the recent advancement and accelerated deployment of RFID technologies, the application areas have also been increasing from simple identification and security to the retail markets, military, medicine, animal tagging, original parts manufacturing, space application and even monitoring the positioning of an implanted organ in a human body. Using RFID, a tracking algorithm has been developed to locate the infected chicken in a poultry farm. Thereafter an attempt has been made to design a hardware model of RFID based tracking system. Further in order to validate design and implemented system we have verified the proposed system using simulation environment. In order to validate the developed model, an experimental test bench is built and found that results exhibit a good agreement with the simulation results thereby establishing the accuracy of our proposed tracking system.
