An Effective Remedy To The Weaknesses Of WebCaches In HTTP Flooding

Caching is a process to upgrade the execution of an application. HTTP caching is an action of depositing and recycling the web contents issued through server. In Web caching, majority of the page contents are readily available across the network, when the webserver is not reachable. Conventional caching hardly effective in HTTP flooding due to the eviction and freshness properties. This paper envisages an efficient method to eliminate the weaknesses of web caches with RSR (Reservoir) model in which the reservoir stores all the legal requests in the time of http flooding for future processing. So packet loss is very much minimum during application life time.
