IoT Based Bridge Monitoring System

In this research, we employ Wireless networking to design an IoT-based bridge safety monitoring system. The automated real-time bridge health monitoring system is a product of recent developments in sensor technology. This technology will aid in the mitigation of disasters and the subsequent restoration efforts. We use wireless technology to build an IoT-based bridge safety monitoring system. Data about vibration, water level, and the weight of the Bridge may all be gathered with the use of wireless sensor nodes. There is a potential application for this information in monitoring and surveillance as well. The primary goal of this study is to create a system that can forestall structural disasters on bridges and flyovers. This research provides a summary of the methods now in use to keep tabs on bridges, and it suggests using an ultrasonic sensor to keep tabs on river levels and a system for keeping tabs on continuously operating structures to divert traffic around flooded areas. Gates to the Bridge will close automatically in the event of an emergency. Administrators may keep tabs on the state of the bridge in real time with the use of mobile communication devices thanks to the data that is relayed from the sensors and uploaded to a server and database.
