New cuts of quartz for temperature sensors

In order to pursue good stability and sensitivity for quartz temperature sensors, it is necessary to study the relationship between the elastic compliance coefficient, piezoelectric constant, frequency temperature coefficient and cut type. Basing on the theoretical analysis, in this paper, we present new ideal cuts of quartz crystal which fully meet our precision and reliability requirements, and also an original program is proposed that can automatically calculate the material parameters for any cuts of quartz crystal, which effectively help us with the following structural design and simulation works of quartz sensors.
