Study on the Difference of Ship Track Band Width Based On Weighted Least Square Method

As the guiding document for domestic navigation applications in China, the Code for The General Design of Seaports represents the technical authority in relevant fields, including the width of a ship's track. In recent years, with the development of shipbuilding industry and navigation science, the navigation performance of ships has been effectively improved. More and more scholars began to question the accuracy and scientific of the relevant parameters in this document. Based on the calculation results of ship's actual track band width by the calculation model of track band width proposed by author and standard theoretical track band width, the quantitative relationship between them is obtained by using the weighted least square method, and the difference between them is analyzed.
