Research on Design and Development Trend of Wi-Fi Entertainment System of Civil Aircraft

With the development of intelligent electronic products, people's requirement of aircraft is not only satisfied with the comfort and safety of the aircraft, but also require for entertainment in the flight journey. With the rapid development of wireless network technology, IFE suppliers apply wireless LAN into In-Flight Entertainment system, and the Wi-Fi Entertainment system is born. This article introduces the design of civil aircraft Wi-Fi Entertainment system, analyzes the T-PED airworthiness compliance and network security. Finally, the development trend is analyzed, which fully indicates that Wi-Fi Entertainment System will become an important composition of IFE.
