Controlling Uncertain Systems with Time-varying Delays: A Non-fragile and Sensor Fault Tolerant Approach

This paper investigates a non-fragile sensor fault-tolerant control problem for uncertain time-varying delay systems. Firstly, a control model is established for the uncertain systems which considers the effects of parameter uncertainty, sensor failure, gain perturbation, and time- varying delays. Then, based on the established control model, sufficient conditions are achieved to guarantee the system stabilization requirement. Thirdly, a framework of state feedback controller design is introduced by applying the obtained conditions, which unifies the non-fragility and sensor-fault tolerance. Two cases of controller gain perturbation and their impact on the system are also considered. Finally, the example simulation and conclusion are presented to prove that the given methodology is effective.
