Study on the Azimuthal Angle Remote Calibration &Leveling and Antimagnetic Constant-temperature Protection System for Seismometers

Zero drift or suspended swaying and acquisition signal interference, etc. may occur inside a seismometer as there is a sharp change in temperature, humidity or electromagnetic environment, because that will have an effect on its mechanical structure and electronic circuits. Meanwhile, the azimuthal angle of a seismometer may have a deviation to some extent due to non-standard erection of seismometer and vibration, etc. we developed an intelligent constant-temperature system. This system can monitor the temperature inside the protective cover on a real-time basis via a temperature sensor and compare it with the set upper and lower temperature limits. Aiming at the problem of azimuthal angle for seismic stations, we designed an azimuthal angle remote calibration system for seismometers, by which we can make azimuthal angle adjustment and seismometer leveling adjustment remotely on a computer. The results show that the we designed protection system, aimed to solve the problem of how to adjust azimuthal angle remotely, at the same time, prevent interference of external temperature and electromagnetic environment to the seismometer.
