Process of alarm system for RF-driven negative ion source at ASIPP

A radio-frequency(RF)-driven negative ion source based neutral beam injector(NNBI) is under commissioning at Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Science(ASIPP). The control system of RF-driven NNBI is a distributed system based on Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS). An alarm system, integrating key parameters of multiple subsystems has been developed for the test of production and extraction of negative ion. The design of alarm system provides an effective scheme for the construction of Comprehensive Research Facility for Fusion Technology(CRAFT) neutral beam injector system with huge subsystems. The alarm system is developed based on the Phoebus. It realizes centralized management of key parameters, real-time monitoring, fault alarm, and fault tracking. This paper introduces the alarm system architecture and development.
