Research on fault characteristic analysis and diagnosis method of cantilever roadheader rotor system

Cantilever roadheader is the core equipment of coal mine tunneling operation. As one of the most common faults, rotor system faults are easy to cause bearing wear due to fatigue of rotating mechanism parts, which reduces equipment performance and even leads to safety accidents. In this paper, the common fault types of cantilever roadheader are analyzed, the physical mechanism of rotor system fault is studied, the mathematical model of rotor centripetal acceleration reaction force is given, and the correlation between rotor imbalance and bearing vibration is obtained; The spectrum characteristics of vibration signal of rotor system are analyzed. By extracting the fault-related signals from the time-domain waveform, the influence of low-frequency signal on high-frequency signal is reduced, the fault characteristic signals of equipment are highlighted, and the reliability and sensitivity of equipment fault diagnosis are improved, it proves the feasibility of fault diagnosis technology based on envelope analysis in the rotor system of major rotating equipment in coal mine. Combined with the overall composition of cantilever TBM, the fault diagnosis method of rotor system is given. The industrial field test shows that the high-frequency time-domain signal extracted from the bearing vibration time-domain signal can express the characteristics of rotor imbalance fault, which is basically consistent with the potential fault of rotor system. It has guiding significance for accurately predicting the health condition of roadheader, and also helps to improve the intelligent level of roadheader operation.
