Event-Triggered Integral Sliding Mode Tracking Control of Aero-Engines Based on LPV Models

A tracking control problem of LPV aero-engine models by designing an event-triggered integral sliding mode controller in which a time-varying triggering threshold is used to provide a flexible control scheme is studied. The event-triggered mechanism(ETM) is designed to eliminate the Zeno behavior, which proves the feasibility of the mechanism. Since the controller is not updated at each sampling point, and the data is only transmitted at the time of event triggering, the event triggering reduces the control cost. By applying the designed controller, the ultimate boundedness of the error system can be guaranteed. The tracking performance is verified by applying the designed controller to an aero-engine model.
