A Memristor-Based System with Two Routes to Chaos

In this paper, a novel memristor with voltage control is proposed and analyzed. It is used to replace the diode in the traditional Chua’s circuit, and a memristor chaotic system with complex dynamics is obtained. The existence of chaos is proved by Lyapunov exponents, Poincaré sections and power spectrums. Through complex theoretical analysis, the system pass into the chaotic state via two paths: alternating period-doubling bifurcations and boundary crisis. Furthermore, the system has the invariance of chaos. The simulation circuit of memristive system is devised by using Multisim software, and the theoretical analysis results of the system are verified.
