A Novel End-Edge-Cloud collaborative Architecture for Industrial Microservice

The distributed microservice architecture has been becoming the mainstream industrial software architecture in the era of Industrial Internet. This article proposes a novel end-edge-cloud collaborative architecture for industrial microservice to improve the real time, reliability and security performance of industrial microservice architecture. The two key technologies including an industrial persistent connection and fountain code technology are introduced to enable the industrial microservice architecture. The industrial persistent connection increases reliability and security through the continuous connection. Fountain code technology accomplishes deterministic bounded latency over imperfect communication networks and improve the real time, reliability and security of the microservice architecture. The experimental results show that the proposed architecture improve the comprehensive performance of industrial microservice.
