Research on Application Method of Object Detection in Video

Object detection is an important problem in the field of computer vision, which is the basis of image segmentation, object tracking, action recognition and action judgment. With the continuous efforts of many scholars, object detection develops from the traditional object detection to the deep learning-based object detection. This paper firstly summarizes the commonly used target detection methods, then summarizes and compares the mainstream detection methods, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of some main methods. Finally, the development of target detection is predicted and prospected.
