Design and Research of Flexible Machining Cell(FMC)-Take Machining the Connecting Rod Parts as an Example

Flexible machining is a part of intelligent manufacturing. This paper introduces the composition of flexible machining cell. Taking the machining of the parts of connecting rod as an example, it states the configuration structure of intelligent and flexible machining cell, summarizes the software and hardware configuration of flexible manufacturing cell, studies the network communication of flexible machining cell and the realization method of flexible machining, and describes the production of flexible machining cell in details, and systematically analyzes the general implementation steps of flexible machining cell.
