Research on Moving Target Shadow Simulation of Video SAR

In this paper, a method of video SAR moving target shadow simulation is proposed using the spatial geometric information projection, which helps to study the detection, tracking and localization of moving target. Firstly, the 3D coordinates of moving target is projected onto the background clutter in the direction of radar line of sight. Secondly, the coordinates of the background clutter pixels occluded by the moving target after projection are calculated, and these occluded pixels are removed in the background clutter image. Finally, the echo signal of the moving target and the de-occluded background clutter is generated for each moment based on echo function. In the simulation experiments, the target shadows of radial motion and cross-radial motion are simulated respectively, and the shadow imaging results at different velocities are obtained to verify the effect of velocity on the shadow in the terahertz band.
