Research on Energy Storage-Supported Distributed PV Absorption Method Based on Net Load Characteristics

Energy storage can help solve problems of voltage control and excessively high reverse line loads caused by a high proportion of distributed solar photovoltaics (PV) access, however, varying configuration ratios and durations produce different effects. In this paper, we propose energy storage location selection and control strategy determination methods as well as a distributed PV output control strategy that can satisfy the requirements of a high-proportion distributed PV access scenario. A typical case is selected for quantitative analysis. The results show that the determination of energy storage ratio and duration needs to consider technology optimization and cost-effectiveness.
