Analysis of Topology and Control Strategy of Generalized Electric Spring

The critical load of a traditional electric spring (ES) must be adapted to the corresponding non-critical load and DC bus. This premise greatly limits the usage scenarios of the ES. In response to this problem, the concept of a generalized electric spring (G-ES) is proposed. By controlling the stability of the line voltage of the critical load, the power quality requirements of the critical load can be met. Currents feedforward fixed-angle control strategy with overload coefficient effectively solves the problem of the voltage drop of the line to which the critical load of the ES is caused by the over load is proposed. With the help of MATLAB/Simulink simulation tools and experimental verification, the correctness of the proposed topology is verified, the control strategy proposed is compared with the fixed-angle control strategy, and the control error has been significantly improved.
