PSO based Medical Image Enhancement for Quality Decisions

This work provides a particle swarm optimization (PSO), an autonomous augmentation technique based on real encoded particle swarms, to circumvent the challenges of picture processing. The retinal fundus imaging technique can depict the back of the eye. The retinal fundus images give a precise representation of the regions around the optic disc and retinal blood vessels. The majority of retinal disorders have visible symptoms in these areas, making it easier for the optometrist to identify and treat retinal diseases early on. For both manual and automatic image analysis methods, blur, uneven lighting, and poor contrast in the retinal fundus images are the often encountered problems.
