A Findings and Discussions of the Application of IoT and Machine Learning Towards Shift Agriculture in India

The rapid increase in global population will necessitate a 70% increase in food production, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning approaches are created to produce profitable high yields and improve environmental protection in order to assist farmers in closing the gap between supply and demand. Many people believe that computer technology is approaching a new era that will be advantageous, especially for agriculture. In this essay, we talk about the problems of relocating agriculture in India. Moving agriculture is referred known as “Jhum” in India. An entire parcel of land is dedicated to agriculture in this style of farming. It is alignment in India's northeastern states, including Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, etc. The majority of shifting farming is done in hilly areas. Deforestation, the loss of a specific piece of land's fertility, and soil erosion are only a few of the detrimental repercussions of shifting agriculture. With the help of the IoT and the swarm optimization technique, we are developing a cutting-edge framework for farmers that will make it easier for them to select the best area for their crops and provide them with the knowledge they need to do so. The features of soil can be determined by various sensors, and they can do this by examining a sample of the soil. To assist with the ensuing framing process, the result will Generate a report that will be made available on the farmer's smartphone. We can locate the appropriate site because IoT and machine learning solutions are designed for field monitoring using sensors. According to a BI estimate, there will be 75 million IoT devices in use in the agriculture sector by 2020, with a 20% annual growth rate. In this study, we aim to suggest some resource management strategies so that we can avoid environmental damage and provide the best possible substitutes.
