Atmospheric Air Condensation for Irrigation by the application of Peltier effect using Solar energy

This paper presents the method to irrigate agricultural land by condensation of the atmospheric air using Peltier effect. It is been achieved by making use of a Peltier element. Due to the passage of electric current, the two sides of the element generate opposite temperature zones. This can be capitalized to cool down water and make it flow through a pipe. Water droplets that form on the outer surface of the pipe fall on the soil and eventually help in irrigation. This approach is different from other methods in the sense that it can be used in arid as well as coastal regions. It is installed independent from water and electricity grids. This system aims to reduce farmer dependency on rains for irrigation.
