Li-Fi Technology based Automatic Vehicle Speed Controller

This paper aims automatic regulation of speed of the vehicle in cities and restricted zone, such as schools, hospitals, etc. Safety is an important parameter for vehicles and their passengers. Vehicles are often involved in accidents due to the lack of proper safety measures, especially in curves, hairpin bends, and humps. By indicating a pre-indication as well as reducing the acceleration rate of vehicles, this system could help to prevent such problems. Due to the fuel rate actions, the vehicle automatically switches to control mode, to avoid accidents. Since the line of sight is limited in curves and hairpin bends, special kinds of transmitters, tuned to a frequency of 433MHZ, are mounted. In the proposed method, these transmitters continuously transmit RF signals for a certain area. A receiver gets activated when the vehicle comes in contact with this radiation. Here, the transmitter is a coded transmitter that is encoded with an encoder. This information can be sent to the vehicle behind to prevent accidents from occurring. Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology used in proposed method could use for this since it is a line-of-sight technology that needs no pairing.
