A Micro-Size CB-CPW Fed Implantable Antenna for High Frequency ISM Band Applications

This paper presents the conductor backed coplanar waveguide fed circular pyramidal slotted shape implantable antenna for health monitoring applications. The designed antenna is made up of a circular pyramid slotted shaped radiating patch with bio-tissue layers. The designed antenna has kept under the skin tissue. . FR-4 substrate is mainly used to construct the designed antenna. The simulation results of the prototype model show high gain and bandwidth values, so the proposed antenna is best suited for twenty-four-hour healthcare applications.
