Static Bending and Buckling Analysis of Rotating Piezoelectric Nanobeams

In this paper, the Euler-Bernoulli beam model is used as the research object to analyze the mechanical behaviors of the micro-rotating structures such as static bending and buckling. Firstly, the governing equations and corresponding boundary conditions of the model are derived based on the nonlocal strain gradient theory and the energy principle, and then the equations are discretized and solved by the differential quadrature numerical method. Finally, the influence of physical parameters such as nonlocal parameter, strain gradient parameter, rotational velocity, external voltage, etc. on the static bending deflection and buckling loads of the piezoelectric nanobeams are explored. Numerical results show that the changes of these physical parameters affect the mechanical properties of the model, and the equivalent stiffness. The research results of this paper have a guiding role in the design of micro-rotating structures.
