Research of Simulation Analysis on Multi-energy Complementary Wind-PV-pumped Storage System Based on Different Types of Pumped Storage Units

With the base of the wind-PV-pumped storage system as the subject, this paper conducted a simulation analysis on multi-energy complementation of different types of pumped storage units by considering configuring wind turbines, PV generators, or other generators driven by new energy near the pumped storage power station in an effort to promote the efficiency of new energy. This study, on the premise that the requirement of output was met, compared the simulation operation of different types of pumped storage units, optimized the selection of unit types in line with the minimum damage rate of the system, and comprehensively evaluated those types in the light of return on investment (rate of return) after fully considering economic indicators of different units to provide a reference for selection of pumped storage units and combined operation of generators driven by new energy.
