Research on BIM Design System of Railway Tunnel Based on Microstation

Tunnel is one of the important components of railway engineering. In order to solve the problems of large manual design workload, low accuracy of model assembly along the line, cumbersome layout and cutting of auxiliary caverns, inconsistent model attributes and coding in the process of tunnel BIM design, the railway tunnel BIM design system was developed on the platform. By analyzing the geometric characteristics and topological relationship of the railway tunnel section profile, the mathematical model of the inner profile of the tunnel is extracted, and the constraint relationship and mathematical expression between the geometric parameters of the inner profile of the tunnel are established, and the parametric design of the tunnel section is realized. Model positioning code and section attribute set mounting, model assembly along the line based on 3D coordinates of the line, auxiliary cave layout and automatic cutting and other functions are also realized. The practical application shows that the technical scheme of the tunnel BIM design system is feasible and the functional design is reasonable, which can meet the needs of professional BIM design of tunnels, and can effectively improve the standardization and efficiency of tunnel BIM modeling.
