Calculation of Reinforced Concrete Lining of Tunnel Based on Semi-Infinite Space Method

In the original design, the crossing section of Damaowu branch tunnel and main tunnel of Xianlin Reservoir was designed with large section reinforced concrete lining structure. In order to save investment and speed up the project progress, it is proposed to adopt the construction of small section reinforced concrete lining with three sides constrained by surrounding rock and one side empty. Therefore, structural mechanics method and finite element method are used to analyze the optimized lining section, and the feasibility of the scheme is verified.
