Flood Prediction in the Area of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh Using Machine Learning Technique

A flood is one of the grievous disasters, yet they can be extremely difficult to predict. The increasing level of flood prediction model is meant for the reduction of risk, coverage concept, the reduction of both living and nonliving things loss, and the reduction of property damage. Machine learning methodologies had given more benefit to make the prediction accurately and cost-effective by providing mathematical solutions to the given problem. Because of ML's numerous advantages and capabilities, its acceptance among hydrologists has advanced considerably. The key goal of this paper is to propose how machine learning methods are used in flood prediction for finding the accurate measures. This paper mainly gives the literature in which ML fashions were criterion via robustness, effectiveness, qualitative and velocity is specifically providing an extensive analysis of the various ML methods and functions used. The performance comparison of the machine learning model gives a good understanding of the various tactics within the context discussion. As a result, the study provides the real flood prediction systems for both the long and short period of happening.
