Smart Guiding Assistant for Visually Impaired using Raspberry Pi

In daily life, blind persons encounter difficulties. They frequently require assistance from others because they can barely walk unaided. There are many devices available to help persons who are visually impaired. In order to help persons who are blind or visually impaired manage their daily lives and navigate their surroundings, this study suggests a system that will turn the text found in the visuals around them into speech. With the help of the Python OpenCV library, images are captured and processed using a Raspberry Pi. Python libraries are used to transform the text from the captured photos to voice. Ultrasonic sensors are used in this project to find any obstacle in the path and indicate the same to the user. Their health is also continuously monitored using heart rate sensors and the location of the blind person is shared with the emergency message sent to the caretaking people with the help of Global Positioning System.
