Current Loop Model Predictive Control of Linear Switched Reluctance Motor

Under the same carrier frequency, in order to improve the bandwidth frequency and response speed of the current loop of the linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) and achieve the effect of improving the system performance, a novel current loop model predictive control (CLMPC) of LSRM is proposed. Firstly, a corresponding mathematical model is established according to the characteristics of the current loop. Secondly, by combining the characteristics of model predictive control, the current state expression at the future time is written, and the state matrix of the response is sorted out. Thirdly, the control sequence is obtained by combining the least squares method, and the first beat of the sequence is taken as the output of the current controller. Last, the experimental simulation compares the control effect of the proposed control method and the traditional proportional integral control method. The results of the comparison show that the step response of the current loop of the LSRM is improved from 6 control cycles to 2 control cycles.
