History of legal informatization in Russia

Legal informatization in our country began in the 70s. last century. By the decision of the Government of the USSR on June 25, 1975, the Scientific Center for Legal Information was established under the Ministry of Justice.With the active participation of the Ministry of Justice, the Program of Legal Informatization of Russia was developed, approved on July 24, 1991 by the Chairman of the Committee on Legislation Shakhrai S.M. Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 966 dated June 28, 1993 approved the Concept of Legal Informatization of Russia, in the development of which the author was personally involved.Based on the technologies for processing legal information developed at the end of the last century, the following are built and successfully operate: State register of normative legal acts of federal executive bodies; Federal Register of Regulatory Legal Acts of the Subjects of the Russian Federation; Federal register of municipal regulatory legal acts.
