An Automated On-orbit Test System and Rapid Evaluation Method

High-orbit communication satellites have many characteristics; which include a large number of beams, a wide range of beam coverage areas, a large number of transponder channels, and a complex beam cross-chain relationship. Usually, the on-orbit test of high-orbit communication satellites is carried out by manually manipulating instruments and equipment, and testing the transponder channel one by one. It occupies a long life of the satellite and consumes more satellite fuel. In view of this problem, an automated on-orbit test system for high-orbit communication satellites was designed, and a rapid evaluation method for on-orbit test was proposed, so that the on-orbit test time was compressed from half a year to a month. Then the satellite can be quickly put into practical application.
