Research on current limiting protector testing technology based on thyristor phase control technology

The current limiting protector is capable of arc-free and rapid disconnection of distribution lines, which is suitable for application in heritage buildings with high fire risk. In this paper, according to the technical content of the draft national standard of current-limited protector, the test methods of short-circuit protection performance, overload protection performance and non-action performance of current-limited protector are proposed. On this basis, this paper develops the current limiting protector test equipment based on thyristor phase control technology, designs the phase analysis control circuit, distribution line voltage sampling and analysis circuit and thyristor drive circuit, analyzes the working principle of each part of the circuit, and proposes the software development process of MCU. This paper proposes a test method for current limiting protectors sufficient to evaluate the performance of current limiting protectors in a scientific and objective manner. The designed test equipment, which realizes the automatic test of current limiting protector, provides an effective means for the performance test of current limiting protector.
