Model Reduction of Linear Differential–Algebraic Equation Systems Using Constructed Spectral Projectors

This contribution introduces linear differential–algebraic equation (DAE) systems and provides the explicit construction steps of spectral projectors for DAEs with indexes 1 or 2. Furthermore, an interpolatory projection-based model order reduction method using spectral projectors is applied to an eddy current problem as well as an electrical circuit to compute a reduced order model.
