Use Hydrology and Stratum Subsidence Monitoring Platform to Improve the Work Performance of Hydrologists

Due to the steep mountains and short rivers in Taiwan, reservoirs are often in short supply. Therefore, the management and research of groundwater resources become urgent and important. At present, relevant government departments have accumulated a lot of survey data, but researchers still lack an effective management platform to improve work performance in terms of analysis. In this paper, we use cloud computing technology combined with emerging web technology to create a hydrology and stratum subsidence monitoring platform to improve the work performance of hydrologists. The results show that the functions of our platform are better than the baseline platform in terms of comprehensive usage efficiency. In terms of platform acceptance, we use the technology acceptance model (TAM) for analysis. The result shows that the average of each degree is higher than 4, and there are significant differences, which means that users are generally willing to use our proposed platform.
