Network motif analysis on the overseas investment path of Chinese large and medium-sized textile enterprises (institutions)

A weighted and directed overseas investment path network of China’s large and medium-sized textile enterprises was constructed in this paper. We carried out the network motif analysis based on PR value classification according to the importance of nodes. In the research process, all countries are regarded as the "sink" points of foreign investment, and all enterprises are the "source" nodes of foreign investment. Based on the analysis of the distribution of nodes in the investment network, this paper puts forward the idea to investigate the ability of the country to attract foreign investment and the "foreign investment region preference" of the investment enterprises. At the same time, based on the degree, centrality and PR value analysis techniques, the importance and competitiveness of foreign investment enterprises are investigated, too. Especially, the "source" node set was divided into "trivial point" and "nontrivial point" and was investigated on details. Results obtained here will benefit the planning and further optimization of overseas investment path of Chinese textile enterprises (Institutions).
