Maximum power tracking control method of permanent magnet direct drive wind power system based on improved sliding mode controller

In order to improve the performance of the permanent magnet direct-drive wind power generation system, considering the wide fluctuation range of wind speed and strong uncertainty, this paper applies sliding mode control theory and disturbance torque observer principle to design a control based on the best tip speed ratio Strategic maximum power tracking sliding mode controller. The sliding mode surface is designed based on the speed error, and the sliding mode convergence speed is accelerated by improving the sliding mode reaching law, and the controller performance is improved; at the same time, the disturbance torque observer (DTO) is used to observe the system torque change in real time and convert it into a reference current for feedforward compensate. Through comparative simulation experiments, the controller in this paper has a good effect of tracking the maximum power, and at the same time has a faster response speed and the better robustness.
