PV based Smart Inverter for Reliable System

About 3.1% of electricity power generation is utilized using solar photovoltaic system. Efficient utilization of the solar power generation is depending on the type of converter and inverter used in the system. Smart inverter is an upcoming new technology, which integrates the distribution system effectively. In this article, an IoT enabled solar smart inverter is proposed which is designed and carried out for 2-way communication between the environment and end-user using Wi-Fi. The inverter output is conveyed to the user. The end user having the feasibility to manage the loads using mobile, allowing for more efficient energy use and increased human comfort. ESPS266 Wi-Fi module along with the NODEMCU is used for the implementation to meet out the user comfort in managing the loads. A solar tracking circuit canboost the output power of a solar panel by adopting P&O algorithm and the user specific control of loads and monitoring of the battery by the user app is finally achieved.
