Design and Implementation a Multi-Rhombus Patch Fractal Antenna Structure for Human Wearable Device

The wearable fractal antenna is discussed in this study for wireless body area network (WBAN) applications. This type of antenna is used in biomedical applications in a safe and convenient manner operating in the frequency range (0-10) GHz. The proposed multi-rhombus patch antenna was designed using a low-cost and widely available substrate made of (FR-4) and ground and patch of copper material, this antenna achieved a bandwidth (5.98-7.44) GHz with a return loss of -41 dB. It has a resonant frequency of 6.30 GHz and a SAR result of 1.4 W/kg. CST studio software is used to design this antenna and body phantom.
