Harmonic Phasor Measurement for Distribution Networks

Large-scale access to new energy power electronics leads to the generation of multi-frequency dynamic signals including inter-harmonic components in the power system, which poses a great threat to the safety and stability of power equipment. This paper presents an algorithm for accurate measurement and effective analysis of harmonics and inter-harmonic phasors. A multi-frequency dynamic phasor algorithm based on sparsity adaptive compressive sensing is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the Fourier multifrequency (TFM) model of the multifrequency dynamic signal is established, and then the sparsity adaptive matching pursuit (SAMP) algorithm is used to solve it. Finally, the estimated value of the harmonic inter-harmonic phasor of multi-frequency dynamic signal is obtained accurately. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has high precision in the estimation of the harmonic phasor, which is superior to the comparison algorithm and provides a theoretical basis for PMU protection phasor measurement.
