Research on the impact of sentimental characteristics on government responses

In order to study the impact of crowd mood on the government’ s response, this paper judges the relationship between emotional characteristics and government response through the actual effect of government response from different perspectives.This paper sorts out the political response theory and emotional expression theory, constructs the theoretical model of government response and puts forward the research hypothesis. Through the methods of emotion analysis and regression analysis, the data of Changzhou 12345 citizen service hotline are selected for empirical analysis. The results show that the public appeal of positive emotions is easier to be resolved by relevant government departments than negative emotions. The government should have a more comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of citizens’ actions and take corresponding measures to the emotional changes generated by citizens.
