Fuzzy Logic Controlled SEPIC With Coupled Inductor-based Converter for High Voltage Applications

This research work presents a novel hybrid-modified SEPIC DC-DC converter with coupled inductors that is well suited for photovoltaic applications. Low-noise operation is made possible by the active components such as controller and clamped switching waveforms. Continuous mode conduction reduces peak and RMS currents. The evaluation of the semiconductor's voltage and current stress leads to the continuous conduction mode (CCM), which will be determined by analyzing the steady-state dynamic characteristics and the static voltage regulation conversion ratio. After that, a simulation of the converter's PI-PI and FL-FL controlled closed loop will be executed. Once the theoretical design is complete, a prototype has been constructed to prove the feasibility of the proposed solution and reveal its primary practical features and limitations. To determine the significance of the proposed model, it will be compared to other related topologies. Finally, the new hybrid converter will be used in an all-inclusive photovoltaic panel system for converting the solar energy. The MPPT and solar system will then be tested in a real-world environment after being modeled and simulated.
