Detection of Pneumonia in X-rays Images of Young Infants using Neural Network Algorithm

Pneumonia is a major disease which mainly affects the lungs of human beings. The air sacs that are present in the lungs gets inflamed and it will be filled with a fluid. The bacteria and viruses are mainly responsible for causing pneumonia. Cough, Fever, Shortness of breath are the important symptoms of Pneumonia. The focus of this proposed work is to look at the variables that increases the risk of pneumonia-related mortality in young infants. It can be diagnosed by using the chest x-rays. Since a result establishing an autonomous system for identifying pneumonia would be advantageous as it might save many lives and aid in the prevention, cure and control. We utilize the efficacy of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models to categorize the abnormal and normal x-rays. This statistic provides the best neural network to evaluate and diagnose Pneumonia and can be highly advantageous.
