Spot Fire: An Intelligent Forest Fire Detection System Design With Machine Learning

Wildfires do irreparable damage to forest ecosystems and increase global warming by releasing carbon dioxide and other pollutants into the atmosphere. As individuals breathe in excessive levels of pollution, the accompanying smoke and haze can travel great distances and cause public health emergencies. Uncontrolled wildfires destroy property and natural tourist attractions, contaminate water supplies, and cripple economies every year, resulting in billions of dollars in economic harm. The predominant aim of this work is to preserve the environment and prevent forest fire through monitoring the ambient conditions, mapping fire prone zones. In order to do so, a sensory unit which is capable of performing regular assessment of location is discussed. Further appropriate machine learning model to ascertain the wildfire condition as early is investigated with great interest.
