Target Detection with Optimal Power Allocation and Quantization for Distributed MIMO DFRC System

In this paper, the problem of detection in a power-bandwidth-constrained distributed MIMO Dual-Functional Radar-Communication (DFRC) system is considered, an optimal power allocation fusion scheme is investigated by joint analyzing the influences of interference and quantization error on detection performance. Firstly, we describe the influence of interference and quantization error on detection, and derive the numerical relationship with detection probability. On this basis, a constrained maximization problem of detection probability is proposed to balance the trade-off between these two factors in order to obtain higher detection performance, by using Yalmip optimization tool, the approximate optimal power allocation is derived. Finally, numerical results confirm the superiority of our method.
