A joint spatial-polarization adaptation method for DOA estimation under mainlobe jamming

Aiming at the DOA estimation problem under mainlobe jamming, a joint spatial-polarization adaptation method with polarization sensitive array is proposed in this paper. First, in order to suppress the mainlobe jamming, each row (or column) of array data is adaptively processed in spatial-polarization domain to obtain a column (or row) of adaptive channel data. Then, the maximum likelihood algorithm is used to estimate the elevation (or azimuth) of target. Numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
