A Fast Super-resolution Imaging Method Based On Vortex Electromagnetic Wave Radar

Vortex electromagnetic wave radar forms different modes by modulating the wavefront phase, and realizes two-dimensional imaging of radar targets by fast Fourier transform (FFT) or back projection (BP). However, the resolution of the conventional vortex imaging methods limit by the number of modes that can irradiate the target. In this paper, based on the uniform circular array (UCA) and multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm, the two-dimensional imaging model of echo signal in azimuth domain and pitch domain is constructed, and the two-dimensional imaging of target in spherical coordinates is achieved. Simultaneously, the real value minimum norm algorithm (RV-MNM) is proposed, which can realize the two-dimensional imaging of the target when the scatterer number of targets is unknown, and the operation efficiency is increased by about 30% compared with the traditional MUSIC algorithm.
