Parameter Estimation Method of High-speed Maneuvering Target with Phase-encoded Signal

The phase-encoded signal is a Doppler-sensitive signal, which limits the use of the phase-encoded signal in radar systems. When detecting high-speed maneuvering targets, the modulation of the Doppler frequency to the intra-pulse signal causes serious distortion of the echo signal, which leads to a poor pulse compression result and affects target detection and parameter estimation. To address this problem, a high-speed target parameter estimation method is proposed. Compared with the existing algorithms, the high-order motion information of maneuvering target is employed in this paper. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method.
